Through the puzzle of freeways, endless miles of hills, handful of schools and sprawling suburban communities that constitute Santa Clarita, CA., there's a thriving music scene that's been boiling beneath the surface for over a decade or so, best represented in years past by internationally-acclaimed Rock artist Smile Empty Soul.
The past few years has found the aforementioned locale still very much a valid hot bed of cutting-edge music talent, spearheaded by another wave of artists. Further delving into the future finds yet another wave that's rapidly swelling, this time best championed by up-and-coming independent melodic hard rocking trio SUICIDE STOMPBOX. The trio also has generated remarkable interest, not just from their expanding, rabid fan base, but also from the local music industry.
Professionals have praised SUICIDE STOMPBOX for their unique approach to the genre, largely through the group's ingenious weaving of melody amongst otherwise pummeling passages, coupled with Michael B' unique emotion-driven vocal style.
